Installing/Changing Fonts on your Theme!

Faradina Fazira | 23.20 |
Here in this tutorial, i will show you how to install/change fonts on your theme.
You can check out the list of static fonts i have =) —- Custom Fonts Page For You
If you want to learn how to add one of these pretty fonts to your theme, here’s the step-by-step tutorial.
  • Choose the font you like from the link above. Message me the font name and i’ll give you the code.
  • Go to the customize page . Click Edit Html.
  • Find in your coding:

  • DIRECTLY UNDER that, paste the code of font i gave you:

You can add as many as you would you like. In this example, I am showing you that I added 3 custom fonts. You add them one after another.
  • Right after font-family in “quotation mark” is the name of your font. Remember that name or copy it so you can paste it later.
  • Now, you have to choose where you want these fonts to show up.
Example: If you want your whole blog to be in this font, find the body tag.

You can add it to your blog title, titles on your posts, pretty much anywhere you see a font-family option.
  • You have to remember that all themes are different. It may be easier for some and harder for others to add a font.
  • If you want to add the font manually you can use the code below. This only works if you are adding your font to your description or in a post.
    <span style=”font-family: FONTNAME;font-size: SIZEpt;”>
    YOUR TEXT</span>
Please retype “quotation marks” if you are copying and pasting.
You can also download and upload your own fonts to Tumblr.
(suggested you know some HTML)
Find a font you like from: dafont.com or another website.
Unzip your font file. Upload it to the Tumblr Static Uploader.
Using the coding at the top (@Font Face) put it in theme.
Follow the rest of the steps.
